Las Vegas is Going to the Dogs
Our favorite city is world famous for its activities for people, but what about for its four-legged citizens? Don’t worry, Las Vegas has got your furry friends covered. 

Two upcoming events to help fill in your pet’s social calendar:
The annual Family Fur & Fun Festival, October 11th from 10 am to 4 pm at Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 S. Town Center Drive. Leashed pets and their human families can enjoy crafts, activities, demos, raffles and live performances.&nbs p; Admission is free, and there will be a $5 micro-chipping clinic for dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits. The Nevada SPCA will be on hand with pet adoptions. For more info go to www.familyfurandfun.com.
Strut Your Mutt, one of Las Vegas’ premiere pet events, will be held on November 8th from 10 am to 4 pm at Dog Fanciers Park, 5800 E. Flamingo Road. Clark County Parks & Recreation promises that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever – with new activities, canine performances, contests and crafts. But planned events aren’t the only way a dog can get out-and-about in Las Vegas. The Coffman Team’s four-legged family members recommend one of the city’s off-leash dog parks. Below is a list of a few:
