Las Vegas is Going to the Dogs
Our favorite city is world famous for its activities for people, but what about for its four-legged citizens? Don’t worry, Las Vegas has got your furry friends covered. 
Two upcoming events to help fill in your pet’s social calendar:
The annual Family Fur & Fun Festival, October 11th from 10 am to 4 pm at Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 S. Town Center Drive. Leashed pets and their human families can enjoy crafts, activities, demos, raffles and live performances.&nbs p; Admission is free, and there will be a $5 micro-chipping clinic for dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits. Strut Your Mutt, one of Las Vegas’ premiere pet events, will be held on November 8th from 10 am to 4 pm at Dog Fanciers Park, 5800 E. Flamingo Road. Clark County Parks & Recreation promises that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever – with new activities, canine performances, contests and crafts. But planned events aren’t the only way a dog can get out-and-about in Las Vegas. The Coffman Team’s four-legged family members recommend one of the city’s off-leash dog parks. Below is a list of a few:
