On October 4^th, 7,000 walkers (including stroller pushers, wagon pullers and dog walkers) raised more than $400,000 to help fight breast cancer at the 9^th annual Making Strides walk at the JW Marriott in Summerlin. The money raised at the 3.5 mile noncompetitive walk benefits the American Cancer Society. For more information on next year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk or other ways to help the American Cancer Society, go to their website at www.cancer.org
